Before moving to Arizona six years ago, my husband and I taught at an international school in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. We were able to travel to every Central American country during this time with our three children, and learn about the culture, the language, and the wonderful people.
This is my third year at Millennium High School, but my 18th year teaching overall. I have taught in Albuquerque, NM, Dubuque, IA, San Jose, Costa Rica, and San Pedro Sula, Honduras. I love to travel and will take any opportunity to do so. My passions are biking, hiking, running, swimming and competing in a variety of different team and individual races and obstacle courses.
I have taught middle school English Language Arts, high school English and AP Language and Composition, as well as Spanish for Spanish speakers and Spanish as a foreign language. I embrace the challenges and rewards brought on by teaching everyday and I believe it is a profession more noble than most. I look forward to a successful, exciting, and new year here at Millennium.
